Ghost Towns - in the west, Nevada and California

The old towns, ghost towns and ruins of the 1800's mining industry in the west, Nevada and into California.  Their histories, maps on getting there, whats left of them, what they were all about and their mining history.  Nevada, in particular, and parts of California have a lot of these old abandoned mining camps.  Many or most have been looted and vandalized over the years but many have some remains still observable.  They all have fascinating histories.
